About Counselling

With an empathic and experienced therapist such as myself counselling will provide a safe, private, confidential and non judgemental environment in which thoughts, feelings and emotions can be freely expressed and explored.

Therapy can help resolve specific difficulties which you may be experiencing. These may relate to anxiety, addiction, bereavement, low self esteem, stress, work or relationship difficulties, isolation, trauma, loss or abuse. However, some difficulties may be due to unconscious or suppressed feelings which are linked to childhood experiences.

Speaking with a counsellor could help you to better understand your feelings and discover your strengths which will allow you to be better equiped to overcome the difficulties, obstacles and patterns of behaviour that may be negatively influencing your life.

Counselling is a journey which can bring greater self awareness and understanding and which gives you the opportunity to explore, at your own pace, your innermost feelings.

Talking therapies can be very powerful tools and I would like to be there to support you as together we discover, acknowledge and work towards overcoming your fears, difficulties and concerns. I believe that knowing you are being listened to and really being heard is an extremely important element in a therapeutic relationship and something which I offer.

Having a greater understanding of ourselves enables us to make more of our relationships and to have a fuller and more satisfying emotional life.

Located in New Barn [Longfield] my counselling practice is easily accessed from Bean [Bluewater], Cobham, Dartford, Gravesend, Istead Rise, Hartley, Meopham, New Ash Green, Rochester, Shorne and Southfleet .
